Alliance for African Assistance provides low-cost interpretation and translation services in more than 75 languages. Our interpreters and translators are highly trained and experienced. Their clients include hospitals, police forces, government agencies, clinics, schools, and various social service providers throughout San Diego County.

                                                       Access to Interpreters

Interpreters are available seven days a week, including after hours. Our professional, multilingual and bicultural interpreters provide in person and telephone interpretation services to governmental and non-governmental agencies throughout San Diego County.

      Alliance for African Assistance offers

        translation services into and from:

* Hourly charge determined by scale and complexity. One hour minimum. Mileage fee of 0.32 cents per mile after the first 10 miles provided directly to the interpreter in light of rising energy costs. Client no-show $45.00 flat fee. 24-hr advance courtesy call preferred when requesting interpreter.

* Per word scale, depending on language and complexity. Quality assurance requirements, timeline, technology, and formatting may require additional charge. Minimum per document charge. Please call for a courtesy consulting.

* All oral interpreters and written translators are held to strict standards of confidentiality. A commitment to confidentiality and the protection of sensitive client information is a required term and condition for employment with the Alliance for African Assistance Language & Cultural Solutions Program. Violation of a client’s confidentiality may result in termination of employment.
