Child Scholarship Program

The Alliance for African Assistance aims to bring hope to Ugandan children affected by the trauma of a prolonged war through our Child Scholarship Program. Your monthly gift of $35 covers a child's tuition, uniform, supplies, and supports their family with food and medical expenses. Contributions are 100% tax deductible, and you can pay by credit card or check. Sponsors often choose to donate quarterly, semi-annually, or yearly.

Our unique program ensures that your sponsorship directly benefits the chosen child. Our staff in Uganda distributes donations to schools and homes, fostering a personal connection through letters, pictures, and report cards. You're encouraged to write and share your own family stories.

Many Ugandan children still need help to complete their education, facing expulsion due to inability to pay tuition. Your support can empower them to change their circumstances through education. Scroll down to explore profiles of children in need and click 'sponsor a child' to provide your contact information and choose a child to sponsor.

If you are interested in participating in the Child Scholarship Program, or have further questions, please contact us at (619) 286-9052 ext 247.
